What a delight! I’ve just discovered a new TV series that combines a touch of Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot with Caribbean heat and modern day British humor. Thanks to the cleverness of Netflix’ predictive engine I got a suggestion that maybe this series would suite my interests. And it is spot on. Just the kind of intrigue, humor and spice to make it entertaining and relaxing for a Saturday evening. Isn’t it wonderful how murders by passion and detective work by logic keeps one’s interest? I’m already two episodes into the series and I a looking forward to many more episodes.
My only concern is that there is a second season. Why is thisa concern? Well, too many successful series just go on and on. The real beauty is when a serie ends at its peak so that you will remember it with fondness and a wish for more episodes. When that wish comes true and more episodes are delivered then, from my experience, the series is no longer worth following and it becomes something to avoid and forget. So sad.
But for now I am very pleased…
